Strategic Insight has redesigned its Flow Watch series to include, from the October 2007 issue onwards, the following three sections:
- An Overall Industry section: “Highlights of Industry Statistics”
- A section devoted to Intermediary-Sold Funds (this section aggregates non-proprietary third-party sold funds; proprietary funds from broker/dealers, banks, or insurance companies; and institutional and retirement share classes)
- A section devoted to Directly-Sold No-Load Retail Funds (while recognizing that such funds are at times also used by RIAs or offered through intermediaries and retirement plans)
