Assistant Manager, Variable Annuity Research
The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting on all functions in variable annuity department. Responsibilities include maintaining and updating our proprietary variable annuity database application, Simfund VA; providing data analysis and research to clients; maintaining client relationships; training clients on Simfund VA; and promote and generate sales. Candidate should be proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and in a team environment. Strong variable annuity industry knowledge, quality assurance, customer service, analytical, technical, and problem solving skills are a must.

Responsbilities
- Maintain and implement quality controls to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of data
- Work with the data team and technical team to improve our collection and quality assurance methods
- Oversee the monthly release of the Simfund VA database product
- Train and support users on Simfund Variable Annuity database application, Annuity Insight, and other research products
- Deliver timely and accurate research and data reports to clients using Simfund VA, Excel, and other SI resources
- Identify client needs and deliver appropriate analysis using Strategic Insight’s variable annuity research tools
- Manage client relationships - maintain client records, user lists, visitation schedules, and usage
- Contribute to SI research and publications. Assist senior and mid-level management in preparing data and presentations
- Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service
- Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts
- Support the sales with analytics and client demos
- Attend and represent Strategic Insight at industry trade shows to promote products and services
Requirements
- 5+ years of variable annuity experience
- Database quality assurance experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Research Analyst / Account Manager: Variable Annuity Research
Acts as the main client contact for our proprietary variable annuity database application. The position is a combination of client relationship manager and research analyst, responsible for maintaining numerous client relationships, assisting clients with their variable annuity and mutual fund research needs, and training them on Simfund VA. Analysts will also assist senior and mid-level management in preparing analytical reports and client presentations, as well as contributing to Strategic Insight’s research publications through data collection and analysis, conducting survey research, and/or writing. Candidate should be proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Strong customer service, analytical, technical, and problem solving skills are a must.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelors degree required
- 2+ years of financial services experience
